This tour will bring you at place that is crowned by National Geographic as one of the 'Biologically Most Intense Places on Earth': Corcovado. The tropical wet forests are considered to be the richest in whole Central America. It is a fascinating place without mass tourism.

Day01: SAN JOSE/OSA PENINSULA

Starting point of this tour is the little town of Palmar (either SANSA (domestic airline) airstrip in Palmar Sur, Tracopa busstation in Palmar Norte or the dock of the 'Oleaje Sereno' - hotel. A guide from the lodge where you will stay the coming days (DRAKE BAY WILDERNESS RESORT) picks you up for a beautiful boat ride through the mangroves. On arrival at the hotel lunch will be served. In the afternoon you will have time to get familiar with the area and to walk around the property trails. Dinner will be served at 7pm.

Day02 OSA PENINSULA

Early wake up for breakfast. The captain will be ready to take you to San Pedrillo National Park Ranger Station where a hiking tour starts to Corcovado National Park. Here you may have the chance to admire many species of wildlife, such as monkeys, scarlet macaws and toucans. Box lunch will be served during the excursion. You will be back at the lodge in the afternoon.

Day03 OSA PENINSULA

After breakfast a boat ride takes you back to Sierpe Palmar. Departure time will vary depending on what kind of transport you will take.
